I would recommend that everyone at least consult with a lawyer so that they understand what the issues are that they're facing. There's a lot of information you can get on the internet but it's not tailored to your specific case and every case is unique because every family or every couple is unique. If you do not have the issues that people fight about then you might not need a lawyer but you should at least consult with one so you understand what the issues are and what your options are.
