Seven people were injured early Sunday morning at the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, in what police are calling a domestic violence-related shooting.
According to the Seattle Times, Cesar Arturo Chaparro of Covington admitted to police that he followed his estranged wife and a male companion to the Galaxy Club, a nightclub inside the Casino, late Saturday night. When he saw the couple dancing, he "couldn't stand it" and opened fire.
Reports say he fired multiple rounds inside the nightclub, injuring his wife, her boyfriend, and two of his wife's sisters, before being tackled by Casino security. It is unclear whether the other three injuries occured from gunshots or during the rush to escape the nightclub.
Chaparro is being held in the King County Jail with a $1 million bail on suspicion of four counts of first-degree attempted murder and three counts of domestic violence.
