Two Washington State Boys Taken By Father Violating Restraining Order

Child custody can be the most painful part of the divorce process – and this was certainly illustrated in Tacoma this week when two young boys, aged four and five, were abducted from their mother’s home by their father.

Pierce County Sheriff's Department issued an Amber alert after Reuben and Dylan Fish were taken from their Fort Lewis home by Allen Fish. Fish and his wife were allegedly divorcing and struggling with child custody rights at the time of the abduction – and some reports say that the mother of the boys had a restraining order against their father at the time that the boys were taken from their home in Joint Base Lewis McChord. Other reports say that the Allen Fish has a history of domestic violence.

The man is reported to have taken his sons to an attorney’s office across state lines, but the children have now been reunited with their mother.
