Seattle Man Charged With Four Domestic Violence Crimes

After threatening his ex-girlfriend with a gun, dragging her into his apartment, and beating her, a Seattle man is facing four different domestic violence charges in Washington State.

According to Seattle Police, 25-year-old Fausto Vega-Filio, also known as Esteban Steven Garcia, confronted 28-year-old woman that he used to date outside of his apartment on October 27. The woman refused to speak with him until he showed her a handgun and then dragged her through the front window of his apartment. He beat her, pulled her hair, and threatened to kill her after saying that she was dating someone new. A neighbor who heard the disturbance called police.

Police arrested Vega-Filio running away from his apartment and found the gun hidden in a nearby tree. The man is being charged with kidnapping, assault, harassment, and interfering with domestic violence. He is awaiting trial at a King County jail.
