Could Your First Name Make Your More Susceptible For Divorce?

Does your first name have anything to do with whether your marriage will be a success or whether your union will end in divorce? A study in the United Kingdom has found that the most common two names on divorce papers in England are Mark and Susan.

The research, which was based on thousands of recent divorce filings across the country, also found that David, Michael, Caroline and Nicola were written on divorce papers more than any other name. In addition, some names were rarely associated with divorce, such as men called Theo, Roy and Liam and women named Penelope, Shannon and Sofia.

Mark Keenan, the man who commissioned the study linking first names and divorce, said, "I was a little horrified to see that my first name was top of the most common names in our client list. I will definitely be keeping this information from my wife."
